General Boarding

We offer general boarding for those times where you want to get out of town and want a trusted place to board your dog.

The dogs that board with us will be with us throughout the day. In the evening we go out and play ball or go for a hike. On the weekends all of the dogs go on a hike along the trails in the mountains or along the river (including swimming if they want to). The hikes are generally off leash (this is after confirming or teaching their recall).  I use GPS collars to keep track of the dogs during the hikes so we know where they.

Doggie Daycare

In addition to boarding we also offer doggie daycare. I know there are those times when you have something come up. You have to be away from your home for an extended period of time during the day. The dogs that stay here will be with us throughout the day. They are not isolated in a kennel and left by themselves. The dogs are amongst other dogs that are here. In the afternoons, after work, the dogs go out to a big open area to play ball or chase a Frisbee. Some dogs just want to explore and when I need to keep track of a dog I use a GPS collar. It may be hard to see it in the picture but the redish brown dog (Black Mouth Cur) is wearing a GPS collar (as it turns out he didn’t need the collar but better safe than sorry).

In Home Training

Most bad dog behaviors start in the home and are easily solved in the home. We come to your home and work with you regarding your dogs issues. Most common issues can be easily resolved during the training session. Some of the issues the dog exhibits in the home may not appear outside the home.

For some dogs issues it’s good to get the dog away from its normal environment. This allows for less distractions and less focus on what the dog is comfortable with. When brining the dog to our location we can work with the dogs issues. It saves us travel time and saves you money.

Board & Train

We found that most of the time people need a head start in getting their dogs on track. We have training sessions with owners focused around their dog’s needs. Some people have a hard time when they get home trying to implement the training we discuss. Therefore, we offer a board and train program to where we work on the dog’s behavior while the dog is boarding with us. That gives the owners a big head start with the dog. After we work with the dog, shaping the behavior, we work with the owners so they can continue working with the dog in home.
